The "Pietre Cavate" Restaurant was started in a country house in 1979, outside of Montecatini Terme near Florence, Italy.
The restaurant takes its name from the stonepits that hold the soil necessary to cultivate the prized olive trees that produce the extra-virgin olive oil of the Tuscan region.
Initially, only friends ventured along the narrow country road on the hill to taste the delicious Florentine cuisine handed down from our grandmother.
As time passed, the small house was enlarged so that today, large and small parties can enjoy their privacy and delicious cuisine in the dining room or on the large terrace among the many flowers and trees overlooking the whole Nievole panoramic countryside. |
